Why does a guy won’t let go of me but is no longer consistent and put much effort?

I asked for clarity if there’s someone else, he has second thoughts, no longer wanna try… but he still says it’s none of that and claimed he’s just sick lately… he told me he still wants me, but he has just been distant and low effort ever since the time he came back after saying he needs time to think.

A man who truly wants u won’t give mixed signals instead he ll show consistency, clarity, n presence, not confusion or excuses..

Sometimes I’m just sick isn't about health, more it’s about emotional detachment masked as temporary distance..

If he still holds on but gives no effort, it’s not love, it’s comfort, ego, or fear of losing your energy while he’s no longer fully invested..

Don’t chase clarity in a place where effort has already disappeared..
