Help! I'm in love with a married man?

I know this guy for about 3 years now.. and I'm helplessly in love with him and i want to be with him.. the problem is he's married.. the marriage is sexless, and he has asked for divorce but his wife won't grant.. their relationship has had many fights and problems and he doesn't want anything to do with his wife

I confessed my feelings and he said he feels the same about me and want to be with me..

What should I do? Am I wrong for loving a married guy?

It’s one thing to be unhappy in a marriage, but that doesn’t give him the right to emotionally cheat on his wife, whether the issues are about intimacy or anything else. He should have talked things through with her, or they could have gone to marriage counseling, instead of getting involved with you.

Think about it... what if you were in a relationship or married, and hit a rough patch, and your partner started opening up to someone else, saying things like, “I want to leave my partner and I really love you/ I have feelings for you”? How would that make you feel?

Please do the right thing. If he can do this to his wife, he could do the same to you. Try to maintain some distance (or cut off all the ties) and avoid being part of breaking someone’s home. You deserve someone amazing, and I’m sure you will find them.

If my partner ever did that to me.. i would be reasonable.. I would try and confront and give him the choice to choose.. but now, in reality, his wife is just not someone who you could have a open talk with.. his wife is psychotic and has self harmed and harmed him too

I knew a girl exactly like you, nature wise. She used to be my close friend. She eventually told me about her boyfriend who was a married man... wasted 10 years of her life only to later get betrayed by him. He not only broke up with her but also showed he never respected her for being a side chick. She felt so hurt. When I got back in touch with her, she said I regretted wasting all these years on him. I should have moved on and gotten married to someone else but I was blind. She felt he made a fool of her, I swear. She's 40 now, single and still affected by it

Being in a sexless marriage is not a reason to cheat. Sex is overrated and prioritized whereas it represents such a small percentage of what a marriage should all be about.
