When push comes to shove boys/young men are more mature than girls/young women. Agree or disagree?

Everyone thinks because girls mature faster physically that they also mature faster mentally and emotionally but I would argue that isn't necessarily the case. For example (not that either should happen) a 16 year old boy would make a better soldier than a 16 year old girl would a mother

This question is proof enough that that is not remotely true. Most men are immature brats until they are at least 30, and some never grow up. Some of the most immature people on this website are in their 30s and 40s.
