This guy coworker has become a little friendly/too nice toward me and I’m not saying anything wrong with that but how do I nicely handle this?

Just that he is taken and I have no desire to even be friends with anyone who is in a relationship so him coming off this way is turning me more away from him, like if I try to avoid him as in not even crossing paths he still finds a way to approach me and say hi and little chat

Well he will always say my name repeatedly when I am near him maybe his just being nice I don't know

Yeah. Many times girls interpret a guy's actions as meaning he's trying to come on to her when he's just being goofy or friendly. If he starts asking you weird stuff or suggesting getting drinks or anything then I would definitely say he's trying to date you.
