How come when I want a relationship the men just want sex and nothing more even if I don't give it to them at all?

It’s this paradox I’ve noticed when it comes to men and women and their ability to connect emotionally. Women will only trust a man for sex if they’ve created an emotional connection with him as that allows them to feel safe. Conversely, men will only trust a woman for an emotional connection if they’ve created a sexual connection. I think it mostly has to do with how men and women are socialized to view sex to where women are heavily sexually objectified and are overwhelmed by the feeling of sexualization to the point that a purely sexual connection feels degrading and humiliating (purity culture and puritanism), and where men are told their inherent value as a man lies in their ability to have sex with women on a frequent basis (patriarchy and masculine culture).

Right now it depends on who’s out there. From news reports most men, especially those between 20-40 are giving up for various reasons. Those that haven’t are the Chad’s who are good looking enough to get sex with the 5’s to the 10’s and not interested in dating. Just passing along what I read.
