Notice narcissists have high standards but get angry when anyone else has standards. Having high standards isn’t strange. What’s strange is the narcissists out there who are bitter and angry with the opposite sex. Because the kind of people they want…. Oddly enough have standards and reject them or otherwise don’t make any effort to approach, show any interest, yada yada. So people become bitter and BITCH nonstop about how bad men are or how bad women are.

It’s people who feel entitled to the kind of people they want but don’t want anyone feeling entitled to them. Because frankly…. The options they have to choose from aren’t who they are wanting.

Examples being… A woman whose in debt has 20 maxed out credit cards and cannot manage money to save her life wants a man whose financially stable. A woman whose slept with all the bad boys, fuckboys, players, and shitbags wants a man whose going to love her and take care of her. A woman will want a man to provide for her. But she doesn’t want to do so much as lift a finger around the house.

Examples of men…. Sleeping with all the hoes, sluts, losers, and degenerates. Paying OF girls. But he wants a woman whose a virgin… A man who wants a bombshell beautiful super model. But cannot do so much as take a shower, brush his teeth, comb his hair, etc.

Narcissists just want to feel entitled and demand everything. But never do anything themselves. THAT is weird. Then get mad when someone else dares to have standards.

Please define your high standards. Everyone’s high standards are different. Nothing wrong with want a quality partner. I could say the same about women. A lot of women get mad when you say I want a stay at home wife, a mother to my children, someone who loves being home, who likes cooking, who’s loyal, loving, nice, etc. A lot of women will respond oh so you want a slave. Someone who’s just going to pop pour your kids. But then those same women still w any a man who is going to take care of a majority of the bills, take care of her, let her do whatever the hell she wants w no consequences.

Is she really homely? Is she really fat?

This is no different then when a guy isn't in high demand from women. Women assume that he shouldn't have high standards and he should accept the first woman that will have him. Well, the same belief holds true for men towards women that are not really in demand as well.
