Yes i use to self sabotage my relationship as soon as I saw the first obstacle. i didn't even realize I was doing it. Once I saw the pattern I had to change it. That involved improving myself and learning to trust that improved self enough to jump obstacle instead of run from them. there are still times people show me my weakness and I want to deny that so much, to say they are the problem not me. I learned the problem isn't mine or their's its simply there to make us both better, not deny. Best done when no one has to "turn down" anything. Thoughts, emotions, feelings, intentions, love, its not meant to be "turned down" its suppose to be leaned into. The problems I avoided in other people were problem i avoided solving within myself. Thats why I avoided it in someone else i liked... I said no to them because subconsciously I said no to myself.

Yes, has happened many times. A few of them were when I was available but they weren't yet still outright asked me. I turned them down until they broke it off. Was it difficult? Not really. Sure they were good looking but I could tell most of them wouldn't of been good long term partners. Sometimes I still think back about the offers n such but I dont ever regret not pursuing them. Id rather have fewer more meaningful relationships that I know have good potential than just hooking up with every girl that shows interest especially when you dont really know if that's even what they want.

I never consciously turned her down, but I definitely missed an opportunity with her. I didn't act until it was too late, and things spiraled out of control. Unfortunately, I think about her very often.
