Even when a man is emotionally closed off, he knows that the girl he likes is understanding, caring, empathetic, and deeply thoughtful. Yet, he doesn’t respond to her confession. For months, they exchange messages, and even though she sends supportive and mature texts, he keeps his distance, never expressing his feelings. The girls was never argued in the messages and she was always respectful but...

Eventually, he cuts off communication altogether.

There ended up being five months of complete silence.

The last time they crossed paths, he didn’t even lift his eyes from his phone. His face was completely blank, and he didn’t look at her at all—as if he was holding himself back. It was as if he behaved specifically in that way so as not to look at the girl...

She hesitated and glanced at him, but then quietly walked away without saying a word..

Maybe he isn't interested. I personally would embrace feeling like that if they are mutual, but some guys are afraid.
