I was in a long-distance online relationship with a girl I met in a chatroom, eventually she started accusing me of things I never even did, and when i tried to be honest to her, she never believed me, it got to the point where I felt like my brain was tying itself in knots, so, I ended up telling her that it was over, it felt so cathartic.

I had some pretty heated arguments with the girl, I was totally honest with her, I argued my case till I felt like I was turning blue in the face, her response was "Whatever!" every time I proved my point, I wasn't trying to be narcissistic about it, I was just trying to be honest with her, that's all, but, she would always twist it around, so it was in her favour, guys, ever had that happen to you? anyway, I'm glad I ended my relationship with her, and i tried to be really mature about it too.

Agreed, turned out she was a bit of a hypocrite, it was okay for her to go chasing other men to satisfy her desires, but if I so much as went to the shops where there happened to be other girls there, she would accuse me of chatting them up, or trying to chat them up.

Yeah, I did get a sense that she was a bit insecure, but to accuse a guy of doing something he never even did, thinking back, I think she had some serious trust issues, she ended up getting pregnant by another guy who had no interest of being a father for her child.

I believe so too, she was really messing with my head, she kept going on about things related to her, it felt really cathartic when I decided to end the relationship, for my own sanity's sake.

Though I didn't know it at the time, I was also suffering from minor depression too, I knew something about me wasn't quite right, I couldn't put my finger on it, it was like my own diagnostic system was malfunctioning, I ended up seeing the staff at the NT mental Health services, that's when they diagnosed me with minor depression, and the penny finally dropped, they put me on a course of 30 Sertraline GA SSRI (Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor) tablets, and I've been feeling great ever since, it was literally like night and day, as if someone pressed the reset button for my brain.

But in her case, she did make false accusations against me, even when I told her the truth, she wouldn't accept it and kept making false accusations anyway.
