Do guys automatically assume a girl wants sex if they suggest a movie night at a hotel?

I live in a very crowded house and I went to numerous friends sleepovers at hotels for birthdays and stuff. Now im just wondering if a guy will automatically think I mean sex? there's one guy we love talking and movies and I’ll love to order room service and hang out without my mom yelling at me or dogs barking but I don’t know if he’ll want sex as soon as we step foot into the hotel

An invite to a hotel for some casual hanging around and movie watching albeit sounding fun and wholesome, would not be my initial thoughts when being invited to a hotel by a girl I’m engaged in banter with.


Although context matters. If you’ve never even slightly flirted/insinuated once with each other that there might be something there, even friendly or jokingly, then there shouldn’t be any room for misunderstandings. But yeah, I’d convey the premise first and then invite lol
