2 days ago I met 2 nice guys (friends) at a bar and I ended up with them. While talking I became closer to one of them who was very nice and open.
He paid me a drink, wanted me to continue the evening with them in another bar after but I had to go because it was already late. He asked my Instagram twice. There was clearly a connection.

2 days after (a bit less) he still didn’t accept my friend request. Do you think it’s on purpose, waiting a bit or?

i don't think there is any reason to "wait" for people to accept the request and if they are i would not consider him a a serious potential partner, friend, etc cause it sounds like he's playing games

If a few more days pass and he still hasn't accepted, it's possible he missed the notification. If you have a mutual friend, you could mention it casually, but generally, if there is no response after a week, it is best to move on.
