If someone were to actually tell me they didn't like my tattoos, I wouldn't give a shit.

I didn't get my tattoos for them, anyway; I got them because they mean something to me. The opinion of anyone else is irrelevant.

I don't know why a woman would get upset over it, unless she specifically got them for validation, and to show off, which are poor reasons to get tattoos, in my opinion.
