No matter what I do… I can’t move on… I can’t see myself being desired by someone else who could genuinely love me.. he told “I hope you find someone who loves you the way you want to be loved “… and for some reason that scarred me more because that means it wasn’t going to be him… but he’d rather have a trans woman secretly and that hurts too

The hardest, but most crucial step, is accepting that he is not choosing you. His actions not his words tell you who he is.

Constantly trying to figure out why this happened or fixating on his new choices only keeps the wound open.

When thoughts of him arise, consciously redirect that energy to personal hobbies, friends, or new activities to build a life where your worth is self-determined, not validated by him.

It is okay to still have a piece of your heart with him, but you deserve to reclaim your life and self-worth.

Yes definitely feeling how you feel. I can't seem to let him go in that way no matter how much I try. He was and is the love of my life. I would give anything to be with him again. The sad part is we still operate like a couple except he doesn't want to commit to me again.

The only advice I can give to you is try to move on. Don't be like me, holding on to something that will probably never happen again.
