Do you think DEI is misogynistic when women are also assumed to be incompetent and special hires?

For example, there was a question asked her, titled "would you fly with a DEI pilot", and it included this picture. The person who posted this, clearly only seems to think that white males are competent and everyone else got their position due to special treatment; this includes white women themselves.

White female pilot--> DEI

Non-white male pilot-->DEI

White male pilot---> Earned his role and position.

Why is it that white men tend to partition themselves into separate groups from everyone else (including white women)? The same belief I've noticed when it to comes to tv shows/movies. A non-white male is the lead and it's deemed "WOKE". The same grievance is seen if it's a woman (including white woman).

No one is assumed to be incompetent with DEI, that's not how it works. It gives preference to members of minority groups without bothering to find out whether they're competent or not. The person chosen for a job or whatever benefit is in question could be the most expert person in that area, or could be the dumbest person on Earth, as long as they fit into one of the minority groups they are targeting.

Incidentally you're wrong about women, they are just as competent at flying as men. As for "minorities" as you call them, they are most likely to work for airlines in more backwards countries, which would skew their statistics.
