Yep, I've literally watched it happen many times. At my old job I did the payroll, we had a good mix of men and women. I only really noticed it when we had 2 new male agents and 1 woman, they all were freshly qualified but the men were both earning 3k more than she was. I didn't say anything at first... Kinda watched closely for a little while. She was doing amazing, selling houses left and right, one of the guys was doing better than the other but not nearly as on to it as she was. Christmas bonus time came around and she received not even half of what they both did. That is the point where I brought it up to my boss. He wasn't the one hiring people or deciding who gets paid what, so he immediately sorted it out and got her up to the right salary and topped up her bonus.
Another job I watched as a man who had only been there a few months get a promotion a woman had been working towards for years (vocally), she was pregnant.
It happens right under our noses. Women earning more in certain industries doesn't change the fact that there are women who are earning less than men with equal or less qualifications.
Men definitely make more money than women but its not that simple. It's all to do with the choices men make on jobs, how many hours they work, risks they take in pursuit of higher pay
I used to believe it, but not really anymore. Plus I'm not sure where the main argument for pay gap really lies. As in, does it exist in all job fields? Or only in career jobs/corporate workplace? Because in your average every day jobs, women are getting paid the same as men, especially in retail. Some are even getting paid more than men.
I also think workplace favoritism with women helps make up for whatever they may be lacking, so not much of a need for pay gap argument. If a woman is Asian, Caucasian, or Latina, and she's friendly, flirty, or just attractive, sleeping with authority figures, or at least all the authority figures are attracted to her, she will get paid more and/or get perks that other employees don't, like higher bonuses, earlier promotions, secret gifts or other favors both on and outside the job from male co-workers or bosses who are into her, or protection from being disciplined or fired even when she's not performing well or outright violating company policies.
So you could argue that even if there really is a pay gap, women are still getting around that and doing just fine.
Why do women have to be sexually objectified to earn what they deserve?
@Smashingdoozy They DON'T have to be. But when they are, they're not rejecting the perks of it. And many even entertain sexual objectification if it gets them more pay or gets them ahead. Women choose when they want to feel harassed or objectified at work, but go along with it if it benefits them.
Why don't you see the issue in that?
@Smashingdoozy I do. That's basically what I'm saying. I don't agree with them getting favor or trying to game the system sexually so they can have an advantage. I think it's very wrong.
You're seeing the issue from a different perspective. You're annoyed at women for receiving "special treatment" not at the men who are giving it. You think women want to be sexualized? Women wouldn't use it as an advantage if there wasn't men who made that possible.
@Smashingdoozy That could only mean men are sexually objectified to in order to be sexually excluded not given those jobs women that women get due to men not being women. in addition to that those jobs wouldn't be around if women weren't taken those jobs and that could only mean women are at fault for filling those jobs. But women never want to take responsibility for anything ever do they? Also if you want to bring up sexually objectification look at divorce and family courts.
@Smashingdoozy Oh I think the men who give them special treatment are garbage, but the women are still accepting that special treatment, and that's what makes them worse in the situation. Especially when you can have women on the job who will oblige some men, but then complain about sexual harassment on other men who are just doing the same thing the other men do that she won't complain about.
Men are not innocent in giving women special treatment, but the women are much more wrong about it.
It's actually insane that you blame the victim for this 😭
Wow.
@Smashingdoozy You think of them as victims, but the women who accept the special treatment don't think of themselves as victims.
@Smashingdoozy they're not victims. If they want more for the same work and offer themselves out to get it then they're not victims.
@Smashingdoozy It's hilarious that you think people granting you favors because of your sex appeal makes you a victim. Feminism has broken people's brains.
@Smashingdoozy better pay is earnt through hard work and time spent inside a company. No one is asking you to jump that line but if you put your body on the line to jump ahead then that's on you
@Smashingdoozy God fuckin forbid I get told to dress nicer for better pay. Guess I'll just stick to high voltage electrics and try not to fry myself
@Smashingdoozy Bud, if I worked an office job and my boss told me if I wore fitted trousers instead of loose fit that I'd be in line for a pay rise I'd be struttin round that office in painted on pants before it even had chance to dry. Objectify and line my pockets
@Smashingdoozy how on earth would you know that?
@Smashingdoozy You're still ignoring the fact that a lot of women are okay with this objectification.
They're only ok with it because they getting a benefit they deserve that they wouldn't otherwise get.
@Smashingdoozy Since the MeToo thing many men have stopped looking at women altogether I for one have. Women walk past me and I don't even look their way at all. If there are still men out there that have ignored the writing on the wall men that are still glaring at women at any time there must be some form of insanity for those men. I took notes as did many many men around the time of the MeToo craze never to look a woman's way again. What men didn't get the message?
Since then I halted the places I used to go to now and then Twin Peaks, Hooters, all of them and hanging out with other men in the MGTOW circles hearing their experiences with women and as I recall women couldn't keep themselves out of the MGTOW circles getting MGTOW kicked off of nearly every platform because men were getting together revealing the truth about women. The question I have is where exactly are those places where you go with all the objectification.
Those men must be some slow learners taking such risks to even be around women is all I can say.
@CB-Raido-Time I'm glad you realized the incel life is the one for you.
@Smashingdoozy Same here I won't complain.
@Smashingdoozy They would be okay with it regardless of whether they deserved it or not. The women I described in my answer are the same ones who even outside of work love getting perks and benefits like free drinks at bars, free sex, free stuff from guys they're not even dating, etc. They just carry it over into the workplace.
@Smashingdoozy sounds a little victim blamey right there
Free sex... Sex is typically free 😂 wtf.
@Smashingdoozy if you're a woman, sure
Women have a higher absentee rate at work than men and are more likely to leave a job during their child bearing years (which means that if they are promoted to more important positions they are less reliable) which is the formative part of their careers. Studies show that when you adjust for those factors women are paid the same as men.
The free market and ONLY the free market should determine what someone is paid. Once you start mandating pay and forcing employers to pay people more then their free market value, you place an additional burden on consumers to pick up the tab for inefficiency and ultimately damage the economy for all.

I normally do not dignify questions like this with a response, but I will assume that you are someone who is nor trolling and has an earnest curiosity.
Why do you think that the extra tips a woman may make as a waitress makes up for the pay gap? She could be a conventionally unattractive women and not make as much with tips as a pretty woman. And even if the women is pretty, the pay gap exists and it is unfair. Why is your first defense for the wage gap Only Fans? Not every women is on that site. And of the women there, only certain women like Bella Delphine are raking in the dough.
And to the point about discrimination, no matter how ugly a girl may look, she can still face sexual harassment in the workplace.
@Poliker Some of your points are right, especially on the OnlyFans. But women are still being compensated when men on the job are attracted to her or trying to have sex with her, which many women do try to use to their advantage, even if they're unattractive. Sexual harassment does exist, but there are a lot of women who DO sleep with bosses or other guys at work to get favor, or they at least act friendly and flirty with those men knowing it will get them favor.
Why does wage gap and harassment only matter when it happens to women?
@AnusNdaPainus I answered the question with women in mind because the question pointed pitchforks at women only. If it were more general, then I could've answered more generally. The question was not "why do some people not like to work," nor "why is Gen Z so lazy," it was specifically for women.
Well, I'd like to see an analysis of that.
Intuitively, I don't really believe that though. I mean, women represent around 50% of the workforce. They're not a novel thing. We have lots of female managers in our workplace, and for the fact that some are fairly idle - as are the men in equal measure, they seem reasonably competent. Sadly though, in order to get ahead in a corporate or competitive environment one has to 'become a man' or take on undesirable male traits. As someone who has no interest in the rat race, this also naturally puts me off a lot of jobs.
Not all women are on only fans
Some are paid unfairly. Like if they working for the same company and they are working the same amount of hours as the men and they are doing the same work as them and they are being paid less then the men then yes they are being unfairly paid however
If the woman is working for the same company and doing the same job but she is working less hours and doing less work then she don't deserve to be paid as much as the men are.
Look at tennis. The women play far less court time compared to the men and they are now paid just as much as the men are which I think is ridiculous and not right at all
Seriously, I have some jobs where I knew I was being paid and treated unfairly... but I was never a woman. So since I was a man, I was expected to suck it up and deal with it like a man. I don't think any woman is going to feel sorry for me about that.
There is no man card I can play, and most woman would think that perfectly how it should be.
So, no I honestly don't think woman nearly as under paid or mistreated int he workplace as much as they would like us to think.
I think some may be. But overall no. Hiring quotas…. Not all women act like this.
Under qualified women get hired and dont work as hard and complain they don’t make as much as men who have higher degrees, been there 30 years, and have worked their asses off.
So they cry and complain
Yes they should be paid less. Some people have fake sympathy for women so they pay them more than they are worth. Everyone regardless of gender, race, religion, etc. should be paid for the job they do. People that get shit done should get paid well. People that aren't that great at their job shouldn't be let go or paid a minimal amount. No one should be paid just for having a vagina. Even prostitutes offer more than that.
They get paid too much and don't have to do the hard work men have to do.
Discrimination and unfair pay only work in their favor.
Wage gap? Not my fault they're too lazy to work a hard/dangerous job and not take all those vacation days.
I know this one person or I'm not like that? So? I know a homeless guy that doesn't even work... so, whatever.
Paid unfairly? Not even sure what that means. Some people are better negotiators, and those people tend to get paid more. If Bob is a better negotiator than Beth, Bob will make more for the same position. If Beth is a better negotiator, she will make more.
Discrimination? That happens, sometimes by sexist managers but also often by female bosses who feel threatened by a smarter and prettier underling.
No, they are not. It's a well established fact that the gender pay gap is due to the different life and career choices women and men make, NOT discrimination.
@loveslongnails Sure thing, sweetie. LOL
@loveslongnails As any man knows, long nails are a huge turnoff to guys. No man actually likes them. Just sayin.

I hear that Midol is a girl's best friend though.
Cheers
two types of jobs. obviously minimum wage jobs lady not less than man kuz not less than minimum. the other type was negotiation salary so after they agreed to amount, such complaints are wrong. we should remind them "you agreed".
A (now) friend of mine and I started at the same time. I make more than her. She took starting salary and I asked for 10k more money and got 8. That's not because I'm a man. That happens a lot.
No. It is a verifiable fact that when working the same jobs as men, women are paid more per hour worked on average than men. Women work fewer hours on average in salaried positions than men do and also benefit from affirmative action policies.
Women will get paid fairly if they do a good job. If not then they won't. It's really that simple otherwise most companies would just hire women if they could pay them less.
Dr. Jordan Petersen can speak to this subject in a rational way that I could never hope to be able to do.
He can be found all over YouTube.
I think companies prefer hiring men over women because women tend to be absent more due to motherhood duties.
it's the other way except guys don't mention this and buckle down to work instead despite some jobs being dirty and dangerous
It depends on the job and employers. To say it's all one way or another for every single job and different employers is just untrue.
Might help if women stopped swiping (in part) based on a guy's career success.
If your standard for a guy is he has to outearn you, don't be surprised that there is a pay gap.
My girlfriend got paid more than anyone in the same position because she was the only one to ask for more money lol
That doesn't answer the question, but it made me think of that
The wage gap myth has been repeatedly debunked. If you count alimony, child support, welfare, and OnlyFans then women definitely have more money than men.
