I think that if a woman tries convincing herself that a guy felt anything other than what he told her he feels, then that’s the equivalent of her licking her wounds and/or being in denial. I’d also say that she has a hard time being wrong about whatever she thought was going on. In any case, her best bet is to accept what it is and move on.
