Do guys open up about their feelings to anyone or just certain people?

Not really. I know I don’t. Because honestly lot of men feel that society doesn’t care, especially women. Women say they want a man who’s emotional, who can express his emotions, open up to her. But when he does, if he has legitimate concern to which that concern includes her, she doesn’t like it. For instance if he was telling her he doesn’t like her going out all the times or on girl’s trips, then she doesn’t like it. Now he’s just complaining, he isn’t even considered a man, etc, etc. It’s an unhealthy way to live for sure, but when you get those kinds of responses or it’s used against you later on, we’d rather just stay silent. Even on this platform women ask questions. A majority of men will give the same answer but the women seem to think that all those men are lying. That that can’t be the truth. Forms range when women ask why is a girl’s body count imprint, to which we answer almost all the same, it’s always met w resistance. We’re hit w oh he’s just I secure, he’s not even a man, a real man would accept her. So what’s the point of talking if me’s feelings, concerns are just invalidated all the time. There’s no point.

Opening up is a wonderful thing however when it comes to feelings I tend not to open up at all & kind of keep to myself. I’m sure a lot of guys do the same however there are a few exceptions.

Mostly just to certain people. It takes time to trust people enough to discuss deeply personal matters. My brother and I share everything, and I tell my therapist everything, I have a distant correspondent and we have shared a lot.

Just certain people. By your age a guy has learned the price for opening up to the wrong person. That doesn't mean he won't let you think he's opening up. If he senses you want him to be vulnerable, he'll throw you a bone and pretend to give you what you seek. Without actually telling you anything compromising.

To be honest it is better not to have negative feelings. So I don't give them life by thinking about them.

Talking about them is the worst thing you can do.
