If a guy’s actions say he likes me but his words don’t, what’s going on?

I’m 18 (F) talking to a guy 18 (M). I really can’t tell if he likes me because his actions aren’t matching his words.

1 He copies when I reply. 2 He cares about who I mention on my story if it’s a guy (meaning he’s tryna find out who it is) 3 He talks about me all the time. 4 He screenshots my stories. 5 He rewatches them. 6 He smiles a lot when we hang out. 7 He misses school to be with me. 8 Sometimes he’s asking if I can stay a bit longer when we hang out. 9 He lets me touch him and opposite. 10 He gets easily affected/ angry

But his words are: you’re not my type. I don’t wanna tell you if I like someone.

This is pretty common with men. He doesn’t see women as people unless they connect with him on the level he wants. You’re equivalent to maybe a pet in his mind: fun and a great way to feel loved, but you’re not about to stick your dick in an animal.

That’s a pretty interesting and slightly confusing relationship dynamic that you have. Might I suggest that skipping school to be with you So that you can allow him to “touch” you probably isn’t the most advisable thing to recommend. And following that, there’s just some red flags there that would indicate in a gentle way that perhaps you all should rethink this? I really hope you give it some thought and things work out.
