I went out on a second date with a guy tonight. We were supposed to go bowling but lanes were full until late so he said we should go roller skating. It’s been awhile since I’ve been so I was slow and had to hold onto him the whole time. Anyways I had stopped because i needed to fix the skates and also had to pee. After I was done he asked if there was anything else I wanted to do. We hadn’t been there long so I didn’t want to suggest something else that cost money and also we live in the south so mostly everything was already closed or about to close by then. It was only 8 pm though and I mentioned the park so that’s where we were going to go then he mentioned something about it being dark out and said he needed to be up early so we didn’t go. He did ask what I was doing Saturday and said we should see each other then. I just thought it was a little weird because we didn’t skate for long and it was kind of like he was cutting things short

Your read on the situation is logical. Sounds like he wasn't having fun skating but cutting things early would make anyone feel weird about it. He asked to make plans later which is proactive but recognize you felt weird for a reason, and decide if that reason is a deal breaker.

No he wasn’t really texting even before we went out the first time. I didn’t really want to go skating. I think bowling wouldve been better. We could’ve found another bowling alley
