I think it probably does mean something. People tend to guard that side of themselves, especially guys who are otherwise chill and composed. Showing you the goofier, more unguarded version of himself is a form of trust, whether he's consciously thinking of it that way or not.

That said, I'd also just... enjoy it? It's a nice thing when someone lets their guard down around you. Whether it turns into something more, you'll likely get more signals soon enough.
