How do I get this former classmate to stop contacting me after 6 years?

The year I graduated high school a guy who was one year my senior messaged me. We graduated at the same school but we had never talked. He seemed nice enough when we first started talking so I messaged him back and forth a couple times. Then a couple days into he confessed to me.

He told me that I was the only person who had ever been kind to him in high school and that I was beautiful, he loved my personality, I was his soulmate and the one made for him. Once again, I had NEVER spoken to him before.

I kindly said no thanks. But he continued on so I eventually unfriended and blocked him. Every couple years he’d try to refriend me on a different account. That went on until last year when I fully disabled receiving friend requests.

And now today on my instagram where we have no mutuals and my name isn’t even the same he has popped up and tried to friend request me.

6 years.

Its been 6 years of this.

I've had something with a girl I've never spoken to, but we had mutual feelings. I think we indirectly flirted with each other more than once a day for a few months. I tried to talk to her later than I wanted, but I only initiated contact due to what I percived as obvious signs of interest. I wouldn't have tried, if I thought my cause was hopeless. If you have no interest in this individual, make your thoughts known and obvious, amd continue to avoid any contact.

This is why I don't have social media. You don't have to deal with all that crap. Followers, likes, blocks. If you put yourself out there on platforms then you're going to have weirdos creeping. All you can do is tell him as bluntly as you can that you're not his friend and to make like a bee and buzz off. Short of deleting your social media accounts that's pretty much it.

You can’t take any legal action against him, just keep blocking and ignoring him. Or just let his friend requests go unanswered. He can only send one at a time right?
