Why do you think my boyfriend lies about not being drunk?

It’s pretty obvious when he has been drinking and when I ask him about it he says no I didn’t drink when he is clearly drunk. Why would he lie?

Because he doesn’t want to listen to you complain about it. He’s a grown man. If you don’t like him drinking then leave. You know that this happens, sounds like often enough that it’s a problem. Men don’t want to listen to women say I told you so. It’s like your his mom rather than his girlfriend. When men do something wrong they know they did something wrong. We don’t need you rubbing it in our faces more.
