Why do we let something as fragile as the body decide how worthy we feel?

For men, it becomes size or performance.
For women, shape, curves, proportions.

But is it really about the body or the fear of not being enough when it’s seen? Not just compared,
but judged. Rejected. Replaced.

And beyond all of that, what does real pleasure and satisfaction mean to you?

Something physical or something that still feels real when everything physical fades?

# I don’t think people are chasing the body,
they’re chasing what they hope it will give them:
to be wanted, to be chosen, to feel enough.

But without connection, presence, and something deeper even what looks perfect can still feel empty.
Why do we let something as fragile as the body decide how worthy we feel?
