I met someone online but don't know what he looks like.
I ended it twice because he lives in the UK and I'm in Australia.
We were only talking for a month. It's been a week since we haven't spoken.
I miss him and wondering if I made a mistake again.

What you’re feeling is pretty common after ending something that still had emotional momentum—even if it was short and online.
A few things to ground this:
You miss the connection, not necessarily the person fully. You didn’t get to know his real-life habits, presence, or compatibility yet.
Distance (UK–Australia) is a real barrier, not a small detail. Even strong feelings struggle with that long-term unless there’s a clear plan.
One week of silence feels intense, but that’s still very early. Your brain is adjusting to the sudden drop in interaction.
Don’t idealize him because of missing him.
Ask yourself: If he came back today, what would realistically change about distance and future plans?
Give it a bit more time before deciding anything. Urges to reconnect often peak early and then settle.
Thanks for this. It was quite intense and never spoke with anyone online before him. He was sweet but I could only talk to him around 11pm it was for a few hours and I was so tired the next and with work. I guess I miss the good morning and goodnight messages. I'd class you as MHO but it hasn't come up yet.
You ended it twice, doesn't seem like it's a mistake.
I don't see how it could be a mistake. That's never going to be an easy relationship unless one of you moves.
If you want an in-person relationship and that will never happen with him, I think it was wise to end it.

I can understand that. Been in that situation in the past. People come and go especially in online world. I have been ghosted as well. Consistency can be challenging sometimes. Time difference and work schedule can be annoying.
I think it was all about connection and not person.
What kind of relationship do you think you can have? You live too far apart.
This is the most ridiculous question I've read this week
Maybe u can talk to him again
