So she's been playing games, the girl is also really crazy so I'm dropping her off and she's crying, "I didn't mean to, I'm sorry" this and "I just really don't want to be alone in my house" that complete with the classic "its always my fault" or some version of it.
She's crying, the tears are coming. I'm trying to piece a perspective of the situation that makes sense to me when all of a sudden, I notice the space around her eyes is completely expressionless. And she's a very animated person normally.
So I let her rant for maybe 4 or 5 minutes and she's looking at me to say something and I say
"You're breaking my heart"
And she does that hand on your lap thing, I could tell what she was thinking when she said
"really? ๐ฅบ๐ฅน"whyyyy"
"I'm 100% sure you're lying" It made me feel something inbetween sorry for her and second hand embarrassment.
All of a sudden the crying stopped. She's like
"so that's it?"
"Yep"
"you're just gonna drop me off at home where I'll be alone again?"
"That's the plan"
Which obviously it didn't work out like that. But that night is a story for another day ๐
