When a guy says he feels a connection, what does he actually mean?

When a girl says she is very attracted to a guy and he says he feels a connection…What does he mean exactly?

When i said that, i 100% always thought "this is romamce" but my nervous system meant "you seem like the woman who is #1 older than me at least by a month, #2 i cannot reach you right now, #3 you like to travel the world and I'm stuck at home, #4 i want to revolutionize everything and force you to take me with you" because that is what happened with my sister who bottle fed me and i was silenced when begging to go with. By the time she returned, i was so brainwashed that i must shut up, i had 0 interest in the 10 countries she visited and when she permanently flew away i didn't care to say bye. Oh, a super bonus if you were born in the same country she was born and share same views.

I say this because i recently learned that 40% of all ADULTS have insecure attachment relationships, meaning something similar to what i meant when they say they feel a connection.

And then when my sister flew away, i was left to the wolves, who falsely accused me of nonsense.

When i said i felt a connection, i meant this:

"You look like someone who will accuse me of nonsense, which will allow me to jump out of my skin to prove I'm a good boy, and maybe finally win the game i played since I was 5 years old."

But the truth is, no matter how much i win, the board buried in my stomach since i was 5, is left lost. It tells me i lost. I need win THAT EXACT game of being 5. Not new replicas. These new replicas though, help trigger the emotions that allow me to realistically bring up the buried game.

I knew this for so long but i never managed to. Why? Because the emotion wasn't there. I know i have trauma but talking about it doesn't do anything. I needed a powerful trigger.

Id say he does have feelings but may not fully prepared to be that intensely open about how he feels.

That is my only guess, that he also has feelings but needs to continue see the connection.

Or hell he could just be shocked you do too and was nervous on how to say it.

He wants a friend to hang out with and maybe do somethings together from time to time.
