Why did my fiancé add me to his car insurance if I can’t drive his cars?

My fiance put me on his car insurance under his name and the four vehicles he own. He said I could drive one of the vehicles to do deliveries on my own but he changed his mind. He prefers that he drives me around because he will get there quicker and he wants to keep his eyes on me. So what was the point of putting me on his insurance... because his insurance increased.
