Why do some guys strongly prefer Asian women while others prefer Caucasian women?

Some of my guy friends really adore Asian women. Three of them love their delicate features and feminine looks and slim bodies. Two of my other guy friends prefer Caucasian women, because they’re bigger and more shapely. All the guys have such a strong preference for a specific race or build that they don’t want to move away from that preference. Isn’t it interesting?

1. Every Oriental woman does not have a similar build. They are not submissive. They don't all have small boobs. The stereotypes exist, and persist, but they don't match reality.

2. I have dated many women from the US, Europe, and South America. Of course there were cultural differences but there were far more cultural similarities with those women.

3. I have dated women from Asia and it is like dating a woman from another planet.

4. Yes, some guys have "yellow fever," and I think they are excited about the novelty of dating an Asian woman, and they probably don't have enough experience to really know much about that experience.

5. I have been married to a Chinese woman for 2+ years and dated for 3 years before getting married. I did not marry her because she is Chinese. I married her because she is the best person I have ever met.

I think a large majority of men like Asian women. Most of them to be feminine especially if they were born overseas. I don’t think I’ve ever seen an Asian girl who was butch or manly. They have soft, feminine voices, cute, love the accents, the eyes. If I’m being honest too I think it’s cause a lot of men see them in porn. Very hot when they’re moaning. A lot of men love their culture, the way they dress especially traditionally. Nothing odd about it. I mean why do women prefer men who are over 6ft, make six figures and so on. How come women don’t like short, fat, bald men? It’s preference. Women tend to shame men for having preferences but it’s ok for them to have preferences.

You misunderstand my point. I’m coming from a place of curiosity and making an observation for fun. It’s a discussion forum. I’m not criticising the men who have a preference for Asian women. Asian women aren’t a different species, they’re still women.

Yes they’re still women, but a lot of them are women women. Many of them rape sky when you go to other countries don’t have that western woman mentality. Not to say other races don’t have cute women, but there’s just more to them. I love Hispanic women and Asian women. Top 2 for me.

People are allowed to have preferences, and there’s nothing wrong with being more attracted to certain looks or body types. However I do think some “strong racial preferences” are shaped by exposure to media, stereotypes, dating experience, and yes, sometimes porn.

Again I'm not saying attraction itself is the issue. But when someone stops seeing people as individuals and starts treating an entire race like a fantasy category then that becomes inhuman.

Asian women aren’t all delicate, submissive, or the same body type. I seen a lot of Asian women that are thick and chunky too, especially Cambodians and other warmer climate Asians. and white women aren’t all one thing either.

So preference is fine. Fetishizing is where it gets weird.

And then there are those who prefer other groups of women or who don’t have preferences. I would say some of it has to do with media exposure, in this case Hollywood and K-dramas for example. Also women in some European and Asian countries take care of the their appearance and generally live healthy lifestyles (the latter more so in Asia I feel). But tbh it also just comes down to opinion. It’s like asking why do people like pizza or hamburgers, it’s a matter of tastes.
