when I invite someone... whether is men, women, family or friends... I do offer to pay, I DO NOT INSIST
if I want them to join me, I let them know it would be on me, whatever their answer I don't really care, I just go with whatever they feel like and it's fine like that
In the past, my girl friend, guy friend and I went to go see a movie and he didn’t let us pay for tickets. Also another girl friend, two guy friends and I went to hang out and the guys payed for our meals. But that was a looong time ago like 5-10 years each.
I will if I am earning considerably more. I'm happy to pay for dinner to have interesting company.
It just depends on how much they cost. And are they worth the price. but if we are talking auction, maybe I can get them cheaper than the going rate. But I will never turn down free ones.
