Are men naturally better drivers than women, or is it social bias?

My guy and I were having a discussion. There is no doubt that men are more risk takers in driving than women. Sometimes this can lead to higher accidents. Usually, but not always, when a male and female driver are riding in a car, the man is driving. Does society make people believe that men are better drivers than women or is this something that men and women are born with. Certainly, there are exceptions. I am talking about overall.

Men are born with the ability to drive better than women.
Men and women can drive equally. It is society that leads people to believe that men are better drivers.
Actually women are better drivers than men since they take less risks.
Something else. Explain please.
