It depends. A lot of men act goofy because a lot of us still have that inner child. I don’t think that’s a bad thing. I think women are more on a time like to grow up if they’re looking to get married, have kids, etc. That timeline doesn’t last forever. Men on the other hand don’t have to really grow up that quick because a lot of women will still marry him if he’s 30 or 40, not so much the other way around for women. W that being said maybe he actually feels like he can be himself around you. I have a friend like that at work who I can be goofy around. Hard to find women like that these days w a sense of humor.
I would assume he's just comfortable with you. Might be romantic/sexual, might not. I would see if he acts like this with everyone or just you in specific.
Acting goofy is an involuntary coping mechanism for romantic anxiety. This behavior is very common among the insecure, the immature, or a combination of both.
