Why do friends or relatives always end up with the guy I tell them I like…? They always end up getting the guy’s attention?

It really impacts my self esteem because I genuinely like the guys but I don’t understand why it always happens

the guy will initially show me attention but then gravitate towards them

I’d honestly stop telling people about the guy until you know there’s something real there. Some people may not do it intentionally, but once you tell them you like someone, they suddenly notice him too.

And please don’t turn it into a judgment about your looks. If another woman gets his attention, it doesn't automatically mean she’s prettier or that you're lacking something. Sometimes people just click differently.

I know it hurts, especially when it keeps happening. But don't let someone else's attention become the measurement of your worth. ❤️
