Why do so many millennial men stay overly attached to their mothers?

I can't understand guys who are over 30s years old and still live with mommy and are attached to mommy. When I go on dates I have seen the guys moms see my as a threat to them no wonder marriage rates have drop no one wants to get martied because now a days marrige to a millenial guy means that also mom comes included in the package and I do not have the energy to deal with Karens boy moms. I noticed this happends very often with millenial guys. Yet people wonder why millenial woman would rather be single get angry with us for being self emploeyed and not depend on a dudes wallet.

I think there can be a fair difference between living at home in your 30s vs being a mamas boy. I feel like I meet a lot more people at least between 30-35 living at home and saving because the cost of living can be so crazy in some areas. But as long as they’re working towards a goal, and of course aren’t glued to their mom’s hip, then it’s reasonable. The issue happens when they allow their moms to run their life and everything in it, including relationships. It’s hard not to look at that, along with living with their parents, and be put off. I would be too.

Maybe mommy and daddy have a yacht and pay for everything for them and he likes to post pictures of the yacht online and you can even see what a great momma's boy he is because his reflection is in his picture

I think it's because, many mothers of that aged children were pretty much left alone by their parents so they didn't want to do that to their kids so they did the opposite which caused the kids to be clingy, especially boys to their mothers, eventually men to their mothers. It's always a dynamic that has a reason.

I guess it depends on how they were brought up and for financial reasons I would think mostly these days. So if you’re a strong woman, you probably could get them to move out and be with you if you want them.

How do these people even get a date? I don't know a singular person that is as attached to their mother, but Im not technically a millennial. I was born in 98.

The consequences of helicopter parenting in the 1990s, which everyone said was a mistake. Now we see it was.
