Men with a thing for single moms?

So I'm beginning to think that my ex had a thing for single moms and I didn't really put all the pieces together until now. He used to talk/ flirt and God knows what else to a ton of girls on the side while we were together and now that I think about it, most of them were fairly young women (in the 20's), never been married (except for 1) with 1 or more children under their belts. Also, they seemed to be low class and trashy women; I am not saying this part is a reflection of being single mothers or anything of that nature. This just seems to be a general characteristic of the women he is interested in messing around with. Is this at all weird? Does this have something to do with him thinking they are easier and less work is involved? I feel kind of angry thinking that men would prey on single mothers, just so they can use them.

It's not a male thing it's a him thing. He's going after the woman he wants to go after for his own reasons. Some guys take advantage of woman. Of of those guys take advantage of single moms, but in my experience single moms are a little wiser and don't have time for games. So from the point of view you are painting I would think it would be harder... Single moms have been a round the block and have their experience with men. They've already dealt with another man and maybe a marriage many times. From my experience they are not exactly naive...

Men prey on a lot of women. I'm not saying I do personally but it's all too easy (and common) for an attractive guy to pick at the insecurities of a girl to get what he wants. Sad times.

watch out. pedophiles are known to target single moms to get to their children...trashy low class women are easy targets because they are less likely to be watchful/proactive in their children's lives, which make it easier for a sicko to hurt the kids. I'm not saying this guy IS a pedo because obviously I know nothing about him, but I'm just passing on some info.
