He Taps my desk when he walks by?

i like a guy in one of my classes and started talking to him on Facebook. he responded the first time but never really responded to the other ones sent him. at first thought that he was ignoring me, then yesterday I found out he was dating a girl in one of my classes. I never have enough time during the school day to talk to him and I don't want to talk to him after because he usually leaves right after school ends.

But even though he doesn't talk to me during school much; sometimes as he walks by my desk/table and taps it 2-3 times with his books or pen. He does it right in front of me...

sooo could this mean anything or is it just a weird thing he does?

and for the guys, do you do anything like this and when/why do you do it?

1) I'm currently single, but no - I don't get on bf's accounts, nor allow them on mine. Not because I have anything to hide (if he were to access mine he'd probably die of boredom) but because I like my privacy, and respect theirs. That being said, I am generally in the minority. From what I've heard and seen, most people access their partners accounts (whether with permission or not is debatable).

2) Both. It depends on the type of relationship. Some guys have super jealous girlfriends and will either not talk to other girls, or hide it from them. Others will have cruisey gfs who don't mind their guy talking to girls so long as it's platonic.

In your situation, it's possible that he doesn't want to upset his girlfriend but it's also possible he just doesn't see the point in messaging because he HAS a girlfriend - he COULD just have responded to yours to be polite.

At the end of the day, he has a girlfriend. No point trying the moves on him unless you want to be "that girl". Nobody should want to be that girl, 'cos she gets a sh*t rep and quite frankly, it's deserved. Stay away, and find someone unattached, my dear.

Whether its just friendship, or his way of flirting, I couldn't say for sure..

but, considering your lack of verbal/text communication, I'd say he is open to more...

I do this to people I worked with, to say hello...

I've known guys who did it too.. and ones that used it as an early "I like you" flirt move...

1- He has a girlfriend and therefore flirting with you seems shameful to him. So, he tries to tone it down.

2- Maybe he isn't interested in you?

I'd really advise you to keep yourself away for him. That's not fair for the girlfriend. Even if they have problems, don't add yourself to the equation.

It's just a way of saying hello or getting your attention, or maybe it's his way of acknowledging you.

Guys definitely talk to other girls! He isn't your friend though, so chatting on Facebook probably made him think that you liked him. If he didn't respond, he's not interested sorry. Just move on. He's taken.

And I would never get on my bf's account. What he does is his business and if I was in a relationship with him, I'd trust him to not cheat or do anything bad (obviously). I'm not paranoid or insecure.

of course men talk to other women and there's nothing wrong with it. I want my man to talk to other girls because he needs a diverse group of friends. As long as he doesn't cheat, which he wont, its all good.

No, really. I wouldn't go around him. That's kinda creepy. It's almost as he's above you (him standing and you sitting) and he's controlling, picking at you (tapping). Urg, it grosses me out.
