When I was in high school, there was this guy who was a total jerk. he would pick on this quiet foreign kid and would act like a douche bag. he was so immature, yet everyone liked him. he always made the class laugh and he was kind of good looking and he had so many friends and knew a lot of people.
so one day in class, I was really late and there the closest seat was the one next to him. I didn't want to sit there but I had no choice. I took the seat and he looked at me and made a face, and got up and left. I felt so bad. I don't know why he acted like that if I never did anything to him.
and the thing with him is that we had mutual friends but he wouldn't talk to them when I was with them. and sometimes, him and his friends would hang out near me and my other friends and he would just stare like if he was trying to see if I was looking at him. I don't know if he thought I liked him for some reason, even though I never was interested in him, nor did I show any signs. he was so mean.
so now that its been 3 years since he graduated (2 years for me) from high school, I run into him again pretty often. he comes to my job. (im a receptionist at a hair salon) so I have to greet people when they come in. I just feel so awkward doing so, so I don't say anything. whenever he comes in, he smiles at me but I just look away.he talks to my coworkers but he never talks to me. he made me feel so terrible in high school, so I don't know how to react. I still think he's a jerk deep down.
but why did he act that way? did he hate me? and does he still hate me now?
