Why does this guy talk to everyone but me?

We met about a year ago but rarely get to see each other since I am away at uni. He talks to me on Facebook but when we get together and are in a group, he talks to everyone but me. He talks to guys and other girls too. He is not a shy guy; in fact, he is very outgoing and confident lol.

I am really confused why he talks to me online a lot (he usually initiates) but he ignores me in real life even when I'm right beside him. I catch him looking at me sometimes but he never approaches me. :(

Why does he talk to everyone else but me? Could this be a sign that he likes me or that he doesn't?

2. He said everything he has ever needed to speak to you about online.

3. Maybe you guys talked about something a little deep online once and seeing that person face to face knowing they knowing something deep about you could make it a little awkward.
