WHY does every guy think I'm leading him on?

i don't go around hooking up randomly but I think my personality is just really flirty and every guy I talk to tries to pull something and its getting kinda annoying.

what do you mean by pull something? most girls I date usually assume I'm a player.. but I'm not... my advice is:

Be who you are, but remember people will see what you show them. If you flirt with a lot of guys they will think you are all about the attention. A girl like that might be great to sleep with but as a relationship it just doesn't work.

the problem is that you flirt because you like the attention but then again when you get to much you hate it. its a game of cat and mouse. Push and pull. You'll find a guy that couldn't care less about you and you'll love him to death because he doesn't give you the attention you desire.

but then again these opinions are coming from a douche bag so take it from what its worth.

Maybe it makes sense but do your really want a guy that doesn't care about you? could you deal with a guy who flirts with all other women? maybe there is a guy out there who doesn't flirt with all different women, but utilizes his time more efficiently. Maybe it is possible that a man that has goals and a plan for his future is what you would be happy with. Being a flirt can be fun, but flirting while in a relationship will only lead to resentment and pain.

I will tell you a seacret. It isn't just that guys are misreading you. That's only half of it. Men like happy upbeat fun women. There is something extreamly feminin about happy fun women. So when you flirt you are becoming the very type of women men like. Flirty girls are fun, happy and cool to be around. And when you flirt a guy thinks you may like him. The first sign guys are liking you is there near you a lot. If I was your age and you were flirting you would see me hanging around you a lot. Hanging around a girl a lot is one of the biggest indicators he likes you. But yea flirty women are hard to resist.

I have the same problem. Apparently, I flirt all the time, without realizing it (I guess that's what I get for being an outgoing bartender! haha). Most guys have some insecurities, and will make a big issue of it. But it sounnds like you have a strong personality (outgoing, independant, etc), so it'll take a certain type of guy to take it in stride and appreciate you for being gregarious. It's not fun weeding them out, but I'll tell you from personal experience...DON'T SETTLE! It will only go downhill if you do. Good luck.

um...hello?! when you flirt with guys, it sends the signal that you are sexually attracted to them. So, obviously, the guys you flirt with will make a move. If it's annoying, then don't flirt with guys you are not attracted to. It's not your personality that's the problem, it's your confusion of male sexuality. Also, you're a young woman, you're going to have guys hitting on you for the rest of your life. Might wanna go ahead and accept that.
