I get so easily and quickly infatuated with people that I find attractive. Does this happen to you?

I fall for guys so so easily, it sucks, but I can't help it. I think about them a lot even after very little interaction. Do you have advise on how to avoid feeling like this so quickly?

I feel the same way as you! It is a bit annoying, but it's harmless if you recognise that it's just attraction and shouldn't be taken seriously. It helps me keep returning to work though... lol.

If you get to know them well, and you really like their personality and morals, you might want to start taking it more seriously.

The reason why I say you shouldn't take it too seriously is because you don't want your feelings to develop for anyone who is attractive and then fall for the wrong person or get heartbroken easily.

Yes I am exactly the same. As soon as a guy starts to pay me any attention of flirt I fall for them. To be honest I think that's just us and how we are. Some people wear their hearts on their sleves and some dont. I don't think you should change, because one day the person you fall for with fall for you back :) Warning though, we get hurt very easily.

Yeah I do that all the time.. I turn away and try to look at someone or something, that helps a little.

I do this too but when attractive girls talk to me or act kind to me. I have to remember that I know very little about them and that this is an infatuation. I have to mentally calm myself down and slow it down until I really get to know the girl or they show some more obvious interest. You can't control the way you feel but you can control how you act upon it.

How to avoid it?

Stop dreaming and land back to the present, you fall quickly because you imagine that you will be with them together in the future, but you don't know, especially when it comes to a complete stranger, anything can happen.

Take everything as it is not as you imagine it to be, start as just-friends & never idealize anyone, do it and it should help, as I guess right now you're probably going through a lot of anguish.
