I met a guy, got to know him, and we've been hanging out and stuff. Then it's like he lost interest and I found out he told one of his friends that I wasn't his type. What does he mean by that? He pursued ME, got MY phone number, said that I was gorgeous and blah blah so if he wasn't attracted to me why did he even bother?

Maybe like Aedak said, something about your personality changed his feelings about you. Or, another possibility would be that he was being teased by his friends so he told them he doesn't feel attracted to you, so they'd stop.

It means he's not interested in you because of your personality. Maybe he thinks you're stuck up, prude, too shy, etc. I don't know you, so I'm just throwing things out there that it might be.

Yep, like the other ones said...maybe he realized that you were not his type after all; or maybe he didn't get what he wanted....hard to tell from the little details you provide.

Maybe he liked you at first, but then his feelings changed. If that's the case, that would explain why he stop coming around.
