Has a bad boy aura, Has tattoos, Occasionally Drinks, Never Smokes, Calm/Self-Collected/Reservist, Freak in Bed, Mysterious, Philosophical...

Does he exist? The only people I can think of is Spiderman and Batman >.>

yes, there is such thing as hot shy guys,

but there is no such thing as a shy badass/rebel...it's kind of an oxymoron...if you are the dark and mysterious brooding type who doesn't care what people think of you, then you wouldn't be shy because shyness is defined by self consciousness and fear of making an ass of yourself, the opposite of badass rebellion...

a lot of quiet guys like to foster this image of themselves, like "im not shy, I'm the mysterious brooding observer " ...those characters don't exist outside literature. I the real world if you sit in the corner under a hood not talking to anyone you just come off as anti social and weird, no matter how good looking you are.

i'm not saying shyness is bad, I've fallen for shy guys before, but it definitely was not because I thought they were "bad boys"

Absolutely there's such thing as a hot shy guy- although maybe not exactly like you describe.

All through third year I say beside the most gorgeous shy guy- took me like 2 months to get him to make eye contact when we talked. He drank (he came out for drinks with us a few times), was fairly calm, smart, a very nice guy, and definitely good-looking. As for the freak in bed and tattoos, well he had no visible tattoos and we never quite got to know each other well enough for me to judge his bedroom talents lol.

But the girls in our seminar class all agreed he was a hottie...

I'm really shy, and don't talk much except one and one and around close friends. I recently learned that I'm pretty...hot even(5'5" 115lbs. blond hair to my waste, good sized chest, blah blah) lmao! But I still am rediculously shy constantly choking down a panic attack and fightig off the steam that's threatening to blow out my ears as my face turns from white to pink to red to purple! and all just because I walked into walmart and the door guy (er girl) checked me out or glanced my way fer too long!

The word you are looking is not shy, is introvert.

Introverts don't have problems with socializing, but they are people that enjoy being alone from time to time, and even need it. That makes them independent, with is attractve to many girls.

I have a friend with doesn't talk much, have only a few friends with are very close. He never goes to parties. But many girls adore him, and pursue him.

A shy person can be either introvert or extrovert, ehat makes omeone shy is their tendency to be somewhat scared of talking in public, expresing something etc

I would say that the thing that makes a shy guy more attractive in one way is that he remains somewhat mysterious, this is definitley a turn on to some girls (for reasons unknown to me, at least). Shy guys aren't usually as talkative as "ordinary" guys.

It's similar to guys who intentionally remain mysterious (in other words, not talking that much) in order to make them seem more interesting. They usually ask the girl about this and that, leading the conversation and only giving short replies back.

I would say that because attractiveness is subjective, it's all dependent on the individual's taste on what they find "hot." But can someone be shy? Absolutely. Perhaps that person is shy by nature because that is part of their personality.

yes. but I find that this hotness doesn't come directly from the physical, but from presence. other than that, most hot guys know very well that they're hot, so the shyness doesn't really exist.

Batman isn't really philosophical  at all, but OK. No, the guy you're describing isn't shy, he's reserved. I've met guys who try act like that type of guy. It's honestly was weird and corny.. Never gave them the time of day. Be yourself man. Someone will find you perfect.
