If a guy exchanges numbers, is he interested?

Ok, this past Friday, I went to a club with a friend. We met some guys. We danced, chatted and they gave us a ride to our car after the bar closed and the dude I like gave me his number and I gave him mine. He is 22 and I'm 26. I was the only chick he danced with that night, I had my eye on him before we met and he just stayed with his guys talking and watched everyone else dance until his friend told him I wanted to dance with him. We danced the rest of the night. I haven't heard from him yet and was wondering if he was interested in me. Thought he was because he kept dancing with me and the whole number exchange. But I texted him sat evening saying hey friend what's up and no reply from him. Monday I texted and asked if he enjoyed his weekend and still no reply. He gave me the right number because he called my phone while together in the process of exchanging numbers. Need some help to understand what's going on, thanks.

would it be ok for me to call him in a few days? my friend said he seemed to be shy. I liked to meet up with him again and just have fun going out. I'm not interested in a one night stand. he's in college and finals are going on so I'm hopin he's busy.

The number one rule that i;ve learned when I was dating was that if people want to get to know you. They will make it apparent. They will make sure they check their voicemail, text and miss calls for your call. Just like you are doing.

He's just not into you and since you've already put the ball in his court twice which eases the tension for him to reply, it's now his turn. Even if he's shy, you made the first move.

- I'd write this one off but there's a small chance that he doesn't have texting (college kid w/o texting, what on earth?).

besides, it's the guy's job to make the first call. Chill, let him make moves... if not just keep searching.

I hated dating but I know I'd get all worked up over certain numbers and girls who never called me back but found it best to accept that people are flaky as you and I probably have flaked on many others. Just part of the game.

Like I said, I've given my number and also have gotten numbers where in the moment, it seems nice and pleasent but afterwards either because you sobered up or whatever reason, just lost interest.

Sometimes guys give or get numbers as a good way of saying good bye and never calling. Or he wants to get the number to add to his "team."

Some people are more upfront and they will reject you right when your about to give numbers but most people feel it's easier to just ignore the person afterwar

If you give out numbers or are given numbers, try not to think too much about them because I know I've given mine out which I never really intended to use. I've also gotten many numbers that turned into wasted seconds on my phone bill.

He probably just isn't as into you afterwards or has a girlfriend.

If he calls you like a week later and gives you a "oh sorry, I must've not gotten the text/call or I was just so busy doing (Insert BS line)," he's just horny and needs a sure lady.
