How do you make a player feel stupid?

I got played in a really obvious way, and am upset with myself for not seeing the red flags sooner. I'm irritated because this guy is parading his new "catch" around me all the time, after he admitted he liked me and I told him eventually that I liked him too. It's getting under my skin and I just really want to teach him a lesson... it sounds petty, but I'm sick of getting treated like crap by crap guys. *Note: I didn't know he was a crap guy until this happened!*

I can totally relate...and I'm so sorry to hear another a******* has hurt another lady..not right! I'm going through the same thing.Have you ever heard of the word narcisstic?sorry if I mispelled,but perfectly describes these guys.its horrible.Even though you don't want to ...always less said better,see the more hurt he can cause you makes him feel better,does`nt help you at all.i use to avoid going to town,because I didn't want to run into them,i would go out of my way,guess who was the loser?ME!See eventually the truth does come out,people see around them what's happening,and believe me ,oh trust me I know your stomach is in knots! do you want to know how too get to him!act like you don`t CARE!serious..no texts,no calls,i even went so far as when I drove through town...girl put the cell to your ear whether your talking or not...look forward and drive on.I can tell you ,you deserve better...dont avoid places and whether you feel like smiling or not...TRUST me put one on,they don't like it.its not a game,not at all,and he will scratch his head wondering why your smiling,and not begging him.Im sorry I hope I helped a little?just like I'm being told.its NOT you! what's happening is so wrong,but also remeber another thing I've been told.One you can do better,and he probably did you a favor by leaving,really.better now than later.and most important "its not what your going through ,how you go through it",another words,never cry until your home,keep your head held high,chin up! and count the days ,serious until he does this to her:)

Yeah, he's a regular at my work so there's no way for me to avoid him. I have a feeling he loves bringing his new girl around me because of how I turned him down the first time, and then changed my mind. Oh well. He's a loser, I'm not, he has nothing going for him, I do. I'll survive. Plus, I was already doing the "not caring" thing today! :)

In my experience, the best way to throw a player off his game is to show him he doesn't have you wrapped around his finger anymore. Guys like this are used to lying and manipulating to get what they want. So they feel they could get any girl just by telling her the right things.

Anyway, just show him he can't have you (even if he doesn't necessarily want you). I don't mean getting another guy and flaunting him in front of the jerk. I mean don't show any interest in him.

I dated a jerk once and he dumped me... He would show up at my work sometimes afterward - once with his new girlfriend - and it was clear that he thought he could still have me if he wanted. So the last time he came by, we had a conversation where I was friendly but didn't show any interest in him. I didn't ask him about his life, although he offered it. He said it was sad that I was moving and I said not really. He said his number's still the same (implying that I should talk to him) and I ignored it. Stuff like that.
