Does anyone here live in the atlanta area and has heard of the banana boat rat story on the radio the other day? is it a true story, sounds like a made up one but is there such an animal?

i haven't heard of it. but I think I've heard something similar about back then how bananas were shipped on boats and rats could be on the boat as well and were pests obviously. and the rats fed on bananas.
i don't really listen to the radio, so I can't verify whether or not this is the story you are refering to.
i've never heard it before... but I do listen to dane cook whenever I listen to it on my ipod! but that has nothing to do with a rat... or even a banana boat... -sighs- sorry, I don't know many stories so I can't really answer... sorry! XP
So far there is no proof that the banana boat rat is true. By all stories told none holds any true value to them. It's just an entertaining story, a modern day urban legend.
