Do men miss affection a lot too?

When guys are single do they/you miss affection just as much as women? I'm talking about being close to someone, having someone to share things with, not just sex.

I dont know why, but when im single, its cuddling that i miss. You'd think its kissing or hugging, but i dont have a desire for that as much as cuddling haha. However when i am single its not a feeling thats always there, it could be a month go by and all of a sudden ill think "id like to cuddle with a girl..." and then its gone

I dont like spooning like with cloths on i mean. I like being able to see her face so like her legs hang over my lap and her arms around me, gve her kisses every once in a while with a blanket and movie

Absolutely. While guys obviously have needs and desires of a physical nature, the fundamental emotional nature of a man (who isn't frightfully damaged) is to crave companionship, love and affection as well. Guys have emotional needs much like girls and being in a relationship takes care of those heart-based needs.

Yes, most humans crave that closeness at times, unless you have a sociopathic personality, or psychopathic personality disorder.

That's just what I heard, I do not know whether or not sociopaths, or psychopaths feel a need for those things, no disrespect to any.

Never been close to anyone, don't know what affection is. I think I'd be scared if someone liked me. how do I let someone into my life? I used to think that I could learn to include somebody into my life, but I don't think I can anymore

Yes! That is one thing I really miss about not being in relationships, the little things are so big.. And when the are gone, you realize how much they really meant to you

Absolutely. Men are just as emotional as women on the inside. Men just don't show it. Makes them feel weak if they expose their feelings like that.
