If a guy skips class to hang out with you does that mean he likes you?

This guy skipped class today so that he could hang out with me for one hour before my class started. I go to a competitive school and everybody is obsessed with their grades - especially him so I think he might like me. This is the same day that I ask for his number. We are friends in the Christian fellowship and go out together to church dinners, church parties, church get togethers but this it the first time in 2 months that I asked for his number and that same day he skips class to hang out with me.

He'll probably flunk out of school and then lay a big trip on you like it's your fault, then he'll expect you to support him and engage in unnatural acts!
