I disagree with you though. I think many more women are willing to date a fat man if that guy has other attributes that she finds desirable. Either way being fit will give a person many more options obviously.

The same reason for allsarinf sites. Either the potential mates in the area don't measure up to standard, or the person is to shy to look for a relationship in their everyday life. It's relatively easy to find a chubby or overweight woman in real life, yet sites still exist for the purpose.

The actual reason is because women naturally carry more body fat than men and fat releases estrogen. Extra pounds doesn't put women at a reproductive disadvantage but it does men.

It's a bit of an overgeneralisation to say %90 of girls, and of course if a girl is looking for a one night stand they are more likely to go for the most conventionally attractive man in the room, but this would change if they had the intention of entertaining a relationship. At the same time the idea that men are more accepting of larger women is also an overgeneralisation, a lot of men don't except it, the fetishize it

As a guy, I completely disagree with you... If not soley off the fact girls generally like their guy bigger than them/ guys like girls smaller than them...

I am for sure on the bigger side, a dad bod lets say. I have never had any problems getting girls who are very thin, in fact all my girlfriends have been significantly thinner than me.

I think guys are far more superficial about weight than women are wiht men...

I don't know about that. My favorite body type is actually somewhere in between the two girls shown. The larger woman is a bit too big for me, but the fit woman is a little too small. I like a woman to have a nice feminine shape, but I do like some nice wobbly curves to play with. Really winds me up :P

While its very true that men are more fat accepting than women, one thing about your take is wrong. Women aren't more accepting when it comes to a face either. 9 and a half times out of 10, a woman will only be with a guy with a ugly face if he has money and power.
