I feel like most of these all share arching your back backwards and stretching your tummy area. In my experience with stretching/cramps/such it might also be beneficial to not just hold a set pose but to slowly move/twist to stretch more fully and then stretch the opposing way to push your stretched muscles back to wear they are comfortable to let them heal better (better blood flow) and maybe end by massaging the area by hand. Either by yourself or maybe let your man do it if you want. Just my $.02 I've got a little experience in the area
Yeah I have my days on my period that I just want to lie in bed. But I try to do these poses throughout the month so it does not hurt so much apparently there is a tea on Amazon that works never tried it but it is rated high
@Asker Right!!! But i am going to take your advice and try some of these poses. I mean it's not always the best idea to sleep or lie in bed all day right. Gotta move :) OMG really? I need to look that up honestly. I just usually take some warm milk with honey :) but i am open to try something else.
On a more serious note, noose pose is a lot more difficult then it looks. If you can't get your feet flat to the floor then come up onto your tiptoes. Even then, it can be difficult to make the bind. Some similar poses that may be easier to do are: revolved side angle media.yogajournal.com/.../2888-301.jpg or revolved prayer twist espaciointerior.pagina.gr/.../...19d794d7a2058.jpg
I haven't seen that variation of pigeon pose before. I'll have to try it sometime.
Right around 16. But there is some research that suggests it the toxins that are used in creating tampons that make your cramps worse. My cousin said getting organic tampons made a difference. I just ordered a menstrual cup which is made of silicone and is supposed to be safer than tampons and you can keep it in up to 12 hours compared to 8 hours with a tampon.
