Research suggests yoga is beneficial for pregnant and pregnancy is an ideal time to start. Here are some helpful positions. However the following postures and positions are not recommended during pregnancy:
-Lying on your back after 16 weeks. -Breathing exercises that involve holding your breath or taking short, forceful breaths. -Strong stretches or difficult positions that put you under strain. -Lying on your tummy (prone). -Upside-down postures (inversions). -Back bends. -Strong twists.

Lotus make sure to switch sides
Or half lotus
If you find the full lotus difficult make sure to switch sides. Only practice lotus or half lotus until late pregnancy then it's advised you stop.
