1. Find an activity or sport you love!


Whether that's hiking, rock climbing, beach volley ball, surfing (I enjoy surfing), soccer etc. doing activities you love will give you a workout with you barley noticing. I LOVE surfing because its fun and I don't even notice how tired and sore I am till after a surf session. lol

You can keep each other motivated and even have some fun competition.

4. If you feel too lazy to work out, just remember why you wanted to start working out in the first place.


Whether that's to get more toned, lose 50 pounds, or just be healthier. keep that in the front of your mind and laziness will melt away.


5. Don't forget rest days!


Rest days are important, and if you don't let your body rest then it won't heal. when I let my body rest on Sunday I feel more motivated to start working out again on Monday.

Hating yourself and the way you look and loathing your body is an unhealthy way to begin your health journey. It's OK to want to get fit, lose weight etc, but don't hate yourself.
